Saab Stereo Rear Speakers

14 Feb
Okay, now the speakers. The rear speakers are the easiest in the world.

Step 1 – take out old speakers
Step 2 – insert new speakers.

I actually found that mine were a little too large, so I put some foam padding around them just to make sure they didn’t rattle. THe rear speakers don’t do much for the driver (just nice for anyone in the back seat), so I’m not too worried about losing a little bit of sound through them.

Once you’ve put them in, you need to connect them to the crossovers. I just temporarily mounted them with a cable tie (as in the below pic) but later went back and used a screw hole to tighten them up. The cable in my pic goes to the head unit, but once finished should go to the 4 channel amp.
